On arrival, I discovered I had lost my wallet. The staff were very helpful in my time of need. There is a restaurant immediately next door and breakfast was good.
Clean room with good beds, cable and flat screen TV. It's not a new place but has been well taken care of. The restaurant is right next door and serves good family cooked meals that are filling. This has been a family run business for seventy-five years and they have done it right. Weed has seen better days and like many small towns jobs are hard to come by. It's still a nice stop on I-5 for some good food or a nights stay with friendly people.
Great deal and comfortable room, even had a shower seat thank goodness! And close enough to get to the cafe with amazing food, will definitely want to stay again and recommend this place to those trying to stay on budget.
Near Mt Shasta, a much nicer and cleaner alternative to motels in the town of Mt Shasta. Many hotels in Mt Shasta extort hikers with high prices. We once were quoted $400 for a room that had the same quality as motel 6 for example.
I saw the other reviews and I wonder if they stayed at the same motel I did?!??? I spent the night last night because of a storm and I found my room was perfect. If I want to stay at the Avanti or Intercontinental Hotel in San Francisco I will and I have. If I am in Northern California I will stay at the Hi Lo.
Very nice clean room. With excellent air conditioning (very important as it's been about 100 F last few days ) , and strong WiFi. (Stayed at a different local motel for a couple of days - it had many problems, so Hi-Lo is great improvement.)
We stopped at the Cafe on Mothers Day! Just a bit busy. The staff was so wonderful to us. I got a red rose. I was offered a free salad bar. I had to decline, I knew my sandwich was going to be too good!! We had an amazing meal!! And we were treated like family.
A decent motel. There are no mini refrigerators or microwaves. It was comfortable but happened to have THREE flies in the bathroom area, which was a little off-putting.
